Shelby and I had a lovely little photoshoot before we ate fish tacos. The lighting was absolutely perfect in this secret little forest hidden in her neighborhood.
This lovely little belt was found at an antique mall for a mere $5! I thought for sure there was a mistake on the price tag. He is my new best friend and you can be sure you will be seeing him often around here. Any name suggestions?
This blog is in a transition stage. My interests, style, and priorities are shifting and I fully expected this when I started the blog. It was anticipated and welcomed. In the next few weeks, months, and years, I will be going through some incredible life changes and I am so happy that I have this blog to document everything. When I look at my blog's first few entries, it's incredible where it has lead me. While I still post outfits for almost every post, I now include so much more and hope to continually expand my content. I hope you guys will stay with me as I find myself through this blog and share my journey.

thanks for your comment on my post, Brittany! Thanks for accepting my opinion, some bloggers who do thrift to stay on a budget have been a bit offended by that post which although that wasn't my intention when writing it, happened inevitably. I also appreciate your opinion on thrifting. I say go for thrifting over F21 (I dunno what it is about that store, but most stuff really doesn't fit me well when I try it on even if it does look great on the hanger). You have a lot of big goals coming up and as motivated, but stylish woman of course thrifting makes sense for you. I do agree with your point that rich kids thrifting just to thrift is a little ridiculous. I have a few extreme hipster friends back in DC who purposely would live in the sketchiest neighborhoods (SE and NE) just because they could and they wanted to pretend to be poor and independent, when really Daddy was just a phone call away (I dunno if you've ever heard the Pulp song "Common People" but it basically has this message down). That's just disrespectful at that point. What you're doing is entirely different clearly and I only wish I had such a good eye as you do. Thanks for the comments!
ReplyDeleteYou look amazing lady. You should name him something really regal, since he looks that way :]
